Choose when trading starts

Keep transfers locked during a mint or enable them from the first mint. Enabling is permanent.

Choose before the first mint

  1. Open Trading settings

In the NFT collection panel, find Settings & updates and open Trading settings. The choice is available on supported collections before their first mint.

  2. Choose the start

Enable on the first mint permanently unlocks transfers when the first NFT is minted. Enable manually, during or after minting keeps transfers locked until you enable them.

  3. Review and confirm the choice

Use Review trading choice and confirm with the owner wallet. The choice applies to the whole collection, including owner mints and every public release.

Enable trading manually

When you are ready, open Trading settings, accept Enable trading permanently and choose Review enabling trading. Confirm the onchain transaction. You can do this during minting, while it is paused or after it ends.

Royalties are a separate setting

Use Royalty settings to set the recipient and resale royalty percentage. Updating these onchain settings requires the owner’s wallet and gas. Royalty payment depends on marketplace support; a percentage is not a promise that every resale pays it.

Older collections

Older collections may enable trading on the first mint without a later-start option. The panel explains what the existing contract supports. If collection control is with a controller, follow the displayed return-control instructions before changing settings that require direct ownership.
